Do Apple stores sell older model iMacs?

Apple stores only sell new Macs if you want an older Mac or iMac such as the G3 which went out of production about 7 years ago you would be looking on ebay or Craigslist. The G3 iMac is pretty old slow and limited by todays standards. Most of Apple’s hardware only has a production run of around 12-18 months at most before it gets a refresh or is discontinued to make way for the updated model. Apple has never sold “older” models of its computers as that would require them to hang on to outdated inventory which would just be loosing them money.
