Do any women here have a good imagination, or it that a rare quality?
I don’t think imagination is gender-based. I have noticed that most other adults don’t seem to have much, so it might be age based. When I younger, I kind of felt sorry for adults. Neither of my parents have much of an imagination, nor did any of my friends’ parents. My friends and I were all very imaginative. Now that I’m an adult, I still have a very active imagination but I’ve noticed that most of my old friends don’t. I don’t know how I managed to keep mine, but then again, the only thing I can’t imagine is me without my imagination. So maybe that’s how I kept mine–it’s such a part of me that I can’t identify with myself any other way. Other people managed to let go and “grow up,” as they say.
