Do any Traditional Universities grant degrees based on Life Experience/Education?
Yes. Each student takes a class and gains a type of Life Experience/Education from reading text books, listening to lectures, participating in discussions and taking tests during a single semester or quarter. In a manner of speaking, all universities and colleges grant degrees based on that “classroom-limited” form of Life Experience/Education. Most Universities will allow a student some credit toward graduation from Life Experience. Twenty percent is a common figure granted for Life Experience. Most Traditional Universities grant “Honorary Doctoral Degrees”. Honorary Doctoral Degrees are real Doctoral Degrees. Recipients may use the title “Dr.” and may teach in Universities or receive Honorariums or substantial professional salaries. All Honorary Doctoral Degrees are based on “Life Experience”. If it is reasonable for a University to grant its highest degree for life experience, it is reasonable that a University may grant the Masters level and Bachelors level degrees for life experie
