Pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Sterling Clarren paved the way in cranial remolding for babies with head shape problems by his creation of the first cranial remolding orthosis at Seattle’s renowned Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center in the 1970s. He was also the first to be published on the topic in 1979.
