Do any other apes eat meat like humans do?
Chimpanzees only eat meat when their is nothing else to be eaten. Much like we did in the ice age when we were forced to or faced death. However i dont think any other chimps do. In fact, humans spent 3/4s of their exist on a vegan diet. The earliest known proof of humans eating meat was 2.5 million years ago, however we have lived for over 10 million. Also we have to cook meat, which kind of proves our immune system and enzymes are not designed to handle the bacteria of meat unlike other omnivores and carnivores. So when it comes to eating meat i doubt humans are designed to eat it, all evidence goes against it. Even our teeth are mainly flat, and our canines are canine in name only, considering we never use them when eating meat their more likely to be used for cracking nuts. So generally i think we just didnt stop eating meat when we should of, and i doubt we are designed to. Although when it comes to other apes, they are also mainly vegan as such. So all in all i think that a vegan
