Do any electronic devices hold their value?
As with most items, it depends on the product and the market it is intended for. Most electronic devices are mass-produced cheaply and have little intrinsic value even when new. There is a possibility that they may be worth something to an antiques collector in the future after most have gone to the landfill, but in the short term they are not worth much. Some specialty products and/or products aimed at the high end of the market will retain their values quite well, unless they become obsolete, at which point they become of interest only to the antiques collectors of the future. However, most still depreciate until there are few of them available, at which point their price can stabilize or increase.
