No. Socialism is not a political system. It is an economic system. Socialist countries can be totalitarian, monarchies, democracies, dictatorships, oligarchies, aristocracies, republics, plutocracies, or whatever. Gee, I wish you people would learn the difference. Socialism is an ECONOMIC system whereby the government controls the means of production and distribution of goods and services. That can happen under ANY form of government.

There are no truly National Socialist countries in existence today. I suppose Cuba and Venezuela would be the closest to socialist governed countries today.

i doubt any of the above answerers have any idea what National Socialism is. each country mention with the exeption so far of the US and the UK are SOCIALIST….not NATIONAL SOCIALIST pre WW!!
