Do any beliefs of Humanistic Buddhism conflict with Zen Buddhism?

0

It would be helpful if you could define a “humanistic Buddhist” – since this is not a traditional school of Buddhism. In any case, Zen Buddhism has no place for beliefs of any sort. Beliefs are pre-determined views about how the world is, should be, or was. Such beliefs can never capture our actual experience of the moment. And Zen is about nothing but the full experience of this very moment. Thinking and beliefs won’t help with that. ============ Thanks for the definition. The Zen tradition views Buddha as an ordinary human being. Zen teaches that Buddha’s experience of enlightenment is available to everyone.
