Do antibodies remain in refrigerated expressed breast milk?

Yes. The antibodies work best in “fresh” breastmilk, but they do remain in the refridgerated milk. If you’ll use the milk in a week, it is best to refridgerate it. You can freeze it, but freezing and thawing does break down some components of the milk.
