Do American kids wear uniforms to primary and secondary schools?
Some American students do wear uniforms. It is left to each city school board to decide whether their public school students wear uniforms, and many cities have adopted them. Almost all cities have at least a dress code, though it is often fairly lax, and includes not wearing anything too revealing or offensive and depending on safety issues, no hats, bags, coats in the classrooms, etc. MANY private or church schools DO have uniforms. Especially in the younger age groups.
