Do alternative schools have a reference area or cluster?
The “reference area” for alternative schools might include a combination of elementary school clusters. Regardless of where they live, students can apply for any alternative school. Students in certain clusters get priority for those schools, and may also get yellow school bus transportation. More information is available on pages 38 – 39 of the 2008-2009 Elementary Enrollment Guide.
