Yes! Yes! Yes! Had it not been for alternates filling in at LD caucuses, Obama would have lost delegates. Even if delegates have confirmed they are attending, emergencies/sickness, etc. happen and actually did happen on April 5th. Even if you are not seated, your presence is needed.
