No, the average temperature increases in smaller animals, and decreases in bigger animals as does their metabolism, which is strongly related to it. Also, temperature varies slightly on a daily basis, following the biological clock or rhythm. The changes in metabolism can be proved in a simpler way, by meassuring the relation between pulse and breathing. Every mammal breathes every four heartbeats, even if their hearts go faster or slower.
