Do all UST owners with wells qualify for the extended secondary containment deadline?
No, only those UST owners that perform “enhanced leak detection” monitoring and that have UST systems in the following areas are eligible for the extended secondary containment deadlines: 100 to 500 feet of a public water supply well, 50 to 100 feet of any other well used for human consumption, or within 500 feet of designated surface waters.
