There is no list such as you are asking for, but you should begin by calling the congregation(s)in your area to make an appointment with the rabbi there. All conversions are local, so your list will be comprised of the rabbis in your area. 4. I would suggest asking for the names of the rabbis who serve the congregations near you. Rabbis generally will not work with people who live far away from them. So, if there is no woman rabbi in your community, the changes are very slight that you will be able to work with one. I think you will find that many men in the rabbinate are very understanding of women’s concerns. In the Reform, Reconstructionist and Conservative movements, you will find that virtually all rabbis are understanding of the needs of gay and lesbian rabbis, feminists, etc., and most of these congregations are entirely egalitari
