Do all Muslims believe in stoning to death or just extremists?
There is no stoning in the Quraan. The Sunni and Shi’a sects can explain the hadiths. I couldn’t be more opposed to them. About 250 years after Muhammad’s death, Abbasids recorded their subversive hadith books and went to town with anything they cared to ascribe to him, authorizing themselves by his name. Even today, the hadith supporters claim that if a ruling or hadith account is out of sync with the Quran, it can be rejected, though this is rarely done. They’re still used by criminals for justification. “And as for the two of you who are guilty thereof, punish them both. And if they turn and amend, then let them be. The God is Relenting, Merciful.” 4:16 Al Quraan There is no room for someone killed by stones to turn and amend. @ Infinity and Wolf…quote? Where is that in the book? I know. You said the repentance doesn’t avert the punishment.
