I’m afraid you’re getting the whole thing very wrong. There are planets which rotate in the opposite direction to that of earth. These planets are called “retrograde”. Planets are not the only one to be retrograde… There are moons which are the same. You see, ‘moving around a planet/star’ is very different from ‘rotation’. When you speak about ‘rotation’, you mean ‘spinning around an axis’. When you are talking about ‘moving around a planet/star’, you are talking about something called ‘revolution’. Do not get confuse with these terms, and use them interchangeably. About revolution, no planet is yet known to revolve the sun in the opposite direction. However, I’m not too sure about moons…
