Do all military guys cheat?
No not ALL of them cheat, but cheating is bad in the military, but being in the military I ask myself “how bad is the cheating in the civilian world?” I think that it seems to be so big only becuase the military really is a small community, so the word gets out more often and on a wider bases. There’s no way to tell unless somebody took a military and civilian wide poll- and even then, people aren’t honest. You’re asking for honest answers from an an unhonest act! LOL People do fool around on deployment A LOT… And people in the military jump into relationships fast and hard, throwing “I love you’s” out more often… You be the judge of your situation…
No more than the average civilian male cheats. Of course there are cheaters in the world, if not, we would have that “high quality TV show”(sarcasm) to watch. But, I would not say it is anymore common just because they are in the military. As a rule though, I did my four years in the military as a single man. I spent two six month deployments on ship when in the Corps. I did not have any ties holding me back. You know him better than anyone on this site, so you should be able to answer that question better than us.
Anyone can cheat, men or women. Some groups of people are more prone to cheat due to circumstances, pople in the military being one of them because they are usually away from the ones they love, but dont forget those that are famous or a star athelete are usually in the same boat, beacuse of having women thrown at them. Just have faith in the one that you love. If your relationship is strong enough not time, distance or any other woman can make your man cheat.
I served for 15 years and never cheated on a girlfriend or my wife. I only saw three military individuals (one was female) cheat during my 15 yrs. One guy cheated on his wife while in Japan… and got caught. One guy (single) stole another guys’ girlfriend while he was deployed… he was transfered out. And the gal started a relationship with another sailor while delployed… they both got caught and given Bad Conduct Discharges. I saw more poor behavior from military wives / GF’s… including my now ex-wife. So ignore the generalizations your hearing from others… if your boyfriend is a GOOD guy he won’t cheat. If he does, he isn’t a good guy and you don’t need him. Good luck, God Bless, and WRITE him often.
