A. Full-time tenure-track teaching jobs in the arts are very scarce and competitive. After Graduate School, photographers must struggle to advance their careers and get exhibits, publications, grants and other credentials. Those things make one competitive… the MFA is just a pre-requisite for teaching at the college level, not a guarantee.
