Not all laptops have card slots (normally referred to as PCMCIA slots). Older laptops often did not. Some of the very small laptops do not and Apple’s latest MacBook laptops do not. Now there is a new half-sized card slot that is becoming popular and probably will replace PCMCIA before long.
