Do all fifty US states have petroglyphs?
“Petroglyphs (also called rock engravings) are images created by removing part of a rock surface by incising, pecking, carving, and abrading. Outside North America, scholars often use terms such as ‘carving’, ‘engraving’, or other descriptions of the technique to refer to such images. Petroglyphs are found world-wide, and are often (but not always) associated with prehistoric peoples.” The list of North American petroglyph sites here only includes a small number of states, but may not be exhaustive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petroglyph#North_America This site dedicated by an archaeologist to promoting awareness of North American petroglyhps indicates that they are (at least primarily) located on the western part of the continent. http://www.petroglyphs.us/ Of course, if the question is referring to records produced by the Petroglyph recording company, the answer is probably yes.
