Do all departments need to be present for the TSC injection during the site visit? What if a site trainer does the training?
The surgeon being trained, the trainer (site or core) and nuclear medicine must be present. It is beneficial for the other department representatives participating in the site visit (OR nursing, data management, NSABP PI, pathology) to observe at least one B-32 protocol TSC injection. The surgeon responsible for the (training case or protocol case) patient should be present at all TSC injections.
