Do all Cowboys drink Whiskey?
Ok maybe I shouldnt have joked about this in our Beer question. All Cowboys do not drink beer or whiskey, some are in AA. Some do not touch alcohol at all. • Do Cowboys always wear pearl snap shirts? A: This shirt was popular back with the old-western-movies. It is not a popular shirt of today. • Why is the Cowboy an American Symbol? A: The Cowboy is an American Symbol due to his resilience and steadfast personality. America is only as big and powerful today due to the Cowboy heading out West to settle it, with his tools of his trade which were Barbwire and his gun. He contains the last vestiges of wildness allowed in the new millennium, and as much as America changes, he has always remained the same. America needs the Cowboy both to remind us of how far we have come and to bring us back to the simplicity of the values he represents. He is also needed because he is a piece of who we are as a country. He represents a lifestyle and a time period that is a cherished part of our History. L
