A. At present Lloyds Register does not accept the use of PIRs as a compliance method for the new BNWAS requirements. As such, if you have any vessels classified under LR then you will need a system that employs manual reset functionality. Choosing a BNWAS with Lloyds Register (LR) Type Approval will ensure you meet these requirements.
