Do all catholic churches have prayer candles in front of statues of Jesus and Mary?
This custom is fading in many churches, especially in small cities, the USA, etc. Though you can still find candles in larger basilicas and cathedrals even in North America. Also, many churches are opting for electric “candles” as a cheaper (and in my opinion infinitely more tacky) and fire-safe choice.
