I htink Neil craig handled himself exceptionaly well and (correctly so) did not blame the umpiring for their loss. I suspect some supprters will feel the need to blame the umpires (I thin)k we all saw the big cry baby on the news “Right in front of me sob sob…….”, but generally they will calm down and just accept that Colongwood played better for threee quarters and deserved to win. Had the footy boot been on the other foot however, you can bet your life that one Michael Malthouse would have been ranting and raving til the NAB cup next year about the decision.

I cant say it was the umpiring that lost us the game but that it was the Defensive mode in 2nd n 3rd qtr I think we cant blame umps as Demitriou came up with something this morning about how the rules are always changing and that players, umps, coaches ect have to get use to.

Umpiring cannot be questioned – King Demitriou told us so! To think that AFL would encourage umpiring trends for the mighty $ is worthy of discussion. Umpires are employees of the AFL…
