Do actions define words, or do words define actions?
I believe that words define actions or at least that is how they started. Think back to a time without words and a man trying to communicate with another that there was water in a well. He could grunt and use hand signs to show the other that there was water down in the well. Eventually as a matter of convienence man developed certain sounds that evolved into language to communicate and define his environment.
