Well… its not that they choose to be that way its rather the cost of living in Hawaii nowadays has shown a rise in the homeless population. Also, certain states sometimes would “give” their homeless one-way tickets to Hawaii in order to, possibly “get rid” of them or to simply to give them a better place to live. Although the temperature here is not that variant it does tend to be verrryy hot in the summer and when the vog from the Big Island is blown towards the other islands. So it may nottt be the greatest place to live. Many of the homeless in Hawaii are locals that have no home or “choose” to live in areas designated for the natives of the land. Many people have also been driven from their homes recently but that has stopped due to the major turnout at rallies trying to keep the native Hawaiians in their rightful homes.
