Do 106 XN 1.1 driveshafts work with a 1.4 quiksilver engine?

In the entire run of Peugeot engines for the 205, between 1987 and 1998, the drive shafts were the same. (except for gti models). The Peugeot 205, 306, 106 all have engines in the TU family, with gearboxes of the MA design. Therefore, the driveshafts fit all these MA (MA4 speed or MA5 speed) gearboxes. Again, the exceptions are for gti models with an XU engine type. I think Peugeot wanted to use the same drive shafts for all models of the 106, 206 as well, to save their own production costs. Do you know about the two little bolts that are ”hidden” on the right side (long) drive shaft? These 10mm bolts are on the inboard side of a round retaining ring that holds the intermediate bearing. You cannot remove the right drive shaft without loosening these two little hidden bolts.
