All individuals who have been convicted in Missouri of a felony offense under RSMo 565 or 566 are required to provide a biological sample for DNA analysis. All the states have laws that require individuals convicted of certain crimes to provide a DNA sample. These laws may be limited to only a few offenses, such as Missouri, include all felony convictions, such as Kansas and Illinois, or even include Arrestees, such as Louisiana.
