This is a limit of the “archaic” MS-DOS(TM) format. You have reached the top file count limit of the root directory. Please delete some files or directories, then create the new directory or save the files. It is always advisable to save files to different directories, rather than saving them all in the root. Multiple directories are a way of organizing files, and retrieving data faster. Note: This problem only concerns the root. It doesn’t apply to sub-directories.
