Dirt and Worms… What could be better?
A big hit at house is dirt and worms! It is delicious and easy to make. The kids can even help you! When you make this fun recipe be sure to use clear plastic cups so you can see all the muddy fun!- 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed – 2 cups cold milk – 1 package chocolate instant pudding mix – 1 small container Cool Whip topping, thawed – 1 package gummy worms Put cookies into a zipper style bag and close tightly. Then give your little ones the job of smashing them. We like to use toy plastic hammers, but rolling pins work well too! Next mix the milk and pudding in a large bowl, whisking til all is dissolved and the pudding is beginning to set. Add the Cool Whip and fold into pudding mixture until well blended. Place a large spoonful of crushed cookies into the bottoms of the plastic cups. Then add a layer of pudding. Then repeat: layering pudding and crushed Oreos til the cup is full.
