DigiPass token. What is the Digipass and why should I care?
Sun Group’s ActivAccess Digipass is a small electronic device called a “token” which can attach to your keyring. On the push of a button, it will display a randomly generated number which changes every sixty seconds. This number will be required to be entered, within 60 seconds, during a user’s login access attempt to OdysseyNet. Users who subscribe to ActivAccess Digipass protection will benefit from advanced protection of their accounts with any Sun Group company since such snooping devices as key-loggers will not be able to determine the number of the additional passcode generated by the token. In addition to login protection, Sun will shortly install OdysseySuite Advanced ActivAccess which will provide even greater security by using Digipass to confirm the identity of the user for any transaction which would cause funds to leave the user’s account.
