Yes. The name has changed from Interactive Information Technology to Multimedia Web Design and Development. Students graduating in the spring of 2011 and later will receive degrees in MWD. The reason the name has changed is because Multimedia Web Design and Development better encapsulates the content and direction of the major. After considerable departmental discussion, market evaluation and analysis, the name Multimedia Web Design and Development was chosen.
