Didn the original plans include an ice rink?
The original concept for the Life Centre did include a full-size ice rink and spectator area but this is not provided in the current scheme because of the constraints of the site. We are still committed to providing a new, full-size ice rink and we are exploring our options for this – looking at different locations in the city – with a view to getting expressions of interest later in the year. We are aiming to provide a new ice facility at around the same time as the Life Centre opens.
