Did you know violent criminals can get federal student loans but anyone convicted of simple marijuana possession cannot? Fair?
I did not know that Wynper. How did you come to know that? Marijuana possession is against the law. I know…it’s a matter of degree and certainly a matter of opinion. Many marijuana smokers believe smoking marijuana should be decriminalized. But since it isn’t, that’s the current law. Why violent criminals are able to get loans is the issue. I think you should ask a lawyer. It does not seem fair to me. I think both groups shouldn’t get any federal funding. They’re both criminals! Happy Tuesday!
