Did you know that new labour have scrapped the SAS training facility to save money?
Oh yeah, great. Coz, of course, in these times where terrorist attacks are an extremely high probability, the last thing the country needs is a fully trained and equipped force with the nous to tackle the problem. No, we need to know our politicians have comfy second homes to crash in – paid for by us – in case the commons runs over a bit late. Heaven forbid they’d have to commute like the rest of us! Jeeeeesus H!!! I can’t take much more. I’m gonna fookin’ explode one day! Er… EDIT: Who’s right here, Crow, mate? Don’t want to waste good ranting fuel if it’s not absolutely necessary, wot! EDIT: Whatever. Even one training facility closing down is one too many. All our armed forces are under funded, under paid, and under valued by this godawful useless government that nevertheless expects blood for the pittance it pays – and all too often gets it.
