Did WKC make k98 bayonets in 1945?
This may have already been discussed, but I saw the upcoming sale that includes a K98 bayonet supposedly made by WKC- Weyersberg (Solingen) in 1945. I recall a thread earlier this year that listed five makers of ’45 k98 bayonets, but I don’t remember this code being one of them. Is this a mistake in the sellers description or did WKC make any ’45 dated bayonets or postwar ’45 dated bayonets for contract sales?
