Did Wes Welkers snow angel deserve a penalty and a fine?
It’s a snow angel, not a chunk of snow being hurled at somebody (see Shaun Ellis, Jets). It’s not that bad of a celebration. But some celebrations that others do are just as harmless, but are still penalized (Terrell Owens did a “Usain Bolt tribute” by going into a runner’s block stance, and that got a 15 yard penalty). So really, I don’t exactly know.
