Did Vivitar ever ,make large format cameras.?

They didn’t make large format cameras that I know of but they did produce a rather limited line of enlarging lenses that were sometimes fitted to large format cameras. The Vivitar VHE 150mm f/5.6 lens was occasionally used on 4×5″ cameras. Decent lens and amazingly affordable today. I think they were produced in the 1970s. Unless the camera itself is factory branded with the Vivitar name I suspect he has just found a large format camera with a Vivitar lens. Most of the value would likely be in the camera and not the lens. The lens is worth about $40.
