Did U.S. President Richard Nixon Take A Friend To See The Bodies Of Dead Extra-terrestrials?
Nixon was friendly with the actor and comedian Jackie Gleason. One day, after playing golf with Nixon, an excited Gleason return home and told his wife that, during the golf match, the subject of UFOs had come up and, afterwards, Nixon took him to Homestead air force base in California. There, Gleason claimed to have seen the remains of a crashed UFO as well as the bodies of dead extra-terrestrials, locked in freezer compartments. Gleason said the bodies were small and, at first, he mistook them for children. He never spoke publicly about the incident but his wife told the story in an interview with Esquire magazine. Tabloids picked up on it and it made a splash in the headlines for a while. Gleason was reportedly unhappy with his wife for having made this revelation and the incident helped precipitate the disintegration of their marriage. Later, another person claimed that Gleason had told substantially the same story to him.
