Did Tiger Woods statement represent a step forward in his quest to repair his battered image?
The speculation on Tiger Woods’ pandering has been confirmed by Tiger himself. His efforts to protect his family are not only natural, but warranted, since they had no involvement in any of his actions. Some of the press boycotted the statement made by Woods because they were not allowed to ask questions. Woods has stated he plans on returning to golf, but with no date set and has stated he is retuning to therapy. Since the statement covered all of those topics, I’m at a loss to determine the questions which reporters might ask if given the chance. The who, what, where and when questions seem disingenuous with only the spectre of sensationalism as their product. Details on his return and future in golf he has addressed, albeit with understandable ambiguity. As for the future of his marriage, I don’t know, but, then it’s not any of my business is it?
