Well it sure has the look of film. There is no way to tell, since my EXIF reader shows that all the data was stripped. Usually if a black and white print or neg is scanned, the model and brand of the scanner shows up as well as the version of the software that was used too. I would ask someone at http://www.NPPA.org and see if they know. Film is still used in developing and emerging nations because of the inconsistency of electric power. I vote for film although sending image files using a FTP server via a wire service or news agency is not a big deal anymore, even in Haiti. The D.R. next door has broadband in little places as small as Luperon.
