Did the US Navy Seals get deployed to Afghanistan?
Yes. They have been deployed there as well as in Iraq. Special Forces Units are deployed around the world whether they be US Navy SEALS, US Army Green Berets, US Marines Force Recon, or whatever. They deploy everywhere that the United States needs them. They are actually usually the first to hit the ground when a conflict begins despite what a lot of other people say. That’s why when you see the different songs/creeds of the different branches, a lot of them say, “First to Fight” when technically everyone is first because of their Special Forces units.
