No it never happened. Here is why: Season 2: The USA Writers Strike Season 3: Ugly Betty Prodctions spent most of their time and energy moving the show to New york City. They were extremely preoccupied with the adjustment but it gave the show a breath of fresh air because they started shooting episodes and scenes outside and also gave MODE a slight re-design. Season 4: ABC gave Ugly Betty less money for production than usual. Also, ABC kept moving the show around to different days of the week, people couldnt find the show, ratings fell, and season four became the final season. HOWEVER the show is still amazing. Season 4, the final season, is the best season ever. It’s honestly amazing. The finale was also wonderful. AND there has been some talk of an Ugly Betty Movie or an Ugly Betty Musical on Broadway. Hopefully one of the happen in the near future.
