Homicide Victim Was To Stand Trial Monday Brian Carson Faced Domestic Abuse Charges POSTED: 12:59 pm CDT April 6, 2009 UPDATED: 6:06 pm CDT April 6, 2009 OMAHA, Neb. — A man found dead Sunday in Elkhorn was supposed to stand trial Monday on domestic abuse charges. Brian Carson, 45, was due in court as a result of a December incident that sent his wife, Teresa Carson, to a hospital. According to court records, Teresa told investigators the two were fighting over the “fact that he had been sleeping with his son’s girlfriend.” The girlfriend is 19-year-old Nicole Walker, one of the suspects in the slaying. The son is Ryan Carson, who’s charged with second-degree murder in his father’s death Police spokesman Jacob Bettin confirmed that Ryan and Walker were once in a long-term relationship. Jeffrey Hill, 22, was arrested and charged with accessory to a felony.
