Did the Miami Dolphins Make a Mistake by Passing on Brady Quinn?
Did the Miami Dolphins blunder by passing on Brady Quinn in the 2007 NFL Draft? This question has been asked in many circles since the 2007 NFL Draft and it is being asked even more with Brady Quinn looking good in the preseason. The Blunder of the Dolphins wasn’t passing on Brady Quinn it was selecting Ted Ginn, Jr. with the ninth pick in the draft. The Dolphins had a nice shot at a quarterback at the beginning of the second round so passing on Brady Quinn was somewhat understandable. They eventually chose John Beck out of Brigham Young University, who is a very promising quarterback to anyone who saw him play for the Cougars. John Beck looks like he could be a great NFL quarterback in the mold of fellow BYU alumnus Steve Young. Also, don’t forget that the Dolphins could have had him if they wanted him.
