** On April 18th FBI surveillance devices picked up a conversation in which one Davidian discussed the idea of lighting a tank on fire if it entered the building. Another Davidian admitted hearing such a conversation to an attorney. This is evidence that the FBI went ahead with the attack despite their knowledge the night before that it might well end in the fiery deaths of dozens of Davidians– as well as the deaths of any FBI agent caught in a fire bombed tank.
