Yes. The District convened a working group to assist in the formulation of the minimum flow regime. The group included representatives from the following organizations: • Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) • Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) • Blue Spring State Park, FDEP • St. Johns River Water Management District • NewFields Companies, LLC In addition, representatives from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Save the Manatee Club, Inc., participated in the working group, primarily by reviewing and commenting on draft recommendations. Further, the District used seven additional outside experts to provide independent scientific peer review on the proposed rule.
