Did The Constitutions Framers intend strict separation of church and state?
Everyone wants to enjoy his or her own freedom. Freedom is a privilege. It should be exercised and accepted accordingly. People shouldn’t take their freedom for granted because the moment they lose it, it is very hard to gain back. People, who have their freedom, want guidance in their lives, but don’t want to feel as if someone, such as the government, is taking over it. A good example of freedom is the constitution’s framers wanting church and state separated. Article VI of the original text declares No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States. The religion clauses of the first amendment affirm: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise theoreof.
